Paula Kral, DDS, is a third-generation dentist who has practiced in Cedar Rapids since 1990. She is passionate about dentistry and enjoys learning about new materials and techniques for facilitating faster, better dental treatment using best practices. Having experienced dental anxiety as a child, Dr. Kral is also an advocate of judgement-free dental care designed for patient comfort and ease. New patients of all ages are always welcome at Dental Health Partners.

Education

After attending Washington High School, Dr. Paula graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1990. Her father and grandfather, also graduates of the UI College of Dentistry, were dentists in Cedar Rapids. Dr. Paula worked with her father for almost 20 years until his retirement.

Personal Life

When she is not working with her team to treat dental patients, Dr. Paula can be found knitting socks, shawls and other items. She also enjoys cooking, crocheting and gardening. She and her husband, John, have three children together. They enjoy going on walks with their rescue dog and have also adopted and fostered cats over the years.
